BUSINESS BIO: Rick has accomplished much across every facet of the Entertainment and Sports Marketplaces. His achievements include the production and distribution of hundreds of hours of television and major retail DVD, the management of many of the biggest names in the Football, Basketball, Pro Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts and Olympics fields, and the production and promotion of a multitude of live events across the globe. Over the past several years, Rick has provided and continues to provide Consulting Services to Pro Wrestling’s and Mixed Martial Arts biggest organizations and to those organizations’ principals, and to a variety of Entertainment Industry concerns. He also currently heads up his own Division at one of Los Angeles’ and New York’s leading Talent Agencies. Rick’s career highlights include: Owner/Operator of Bassman Productions, which promoted concerts with The Police, Talking Heads, George Carlin, Johnny Mathis and hundreds more. Owner/Operator of Celebrity Services, which provided representation to top-names on the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Cardinals sports teams. Executive, Walt Disney Company, with duties including the presentation of hundreds of live events and production of hundreds of television shows. Winner of Florida Emmy Award for writing and producing “Flashback.” Producer of hundreds of live and pay-per-view events Founder and President of Pro Wrestling’s Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) brand and of Mixed Martial Arts’ Valor Fighting and Management brand. Rick possesses a unique skill set, sensibility and relationships which enable him to fluidly bridge the gap between the Entertainment, Theatrical and Commercial communities, with the Sporting, Professional Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts worlds. As such, he is able to consistently produce an end result that gets the best out of these unique partnerships. Rick is a Stage 4 cancer survivor, a New Thought metaphysicist and volunteers for Pitbull rescue. He plans on doing one more Mixed Martial Arts fight, on his 50th Birthday.
