BUSINESS BIO:
With over 26 years' experience in the areas of general
business, corporate, transactional, and entertainment law,
both as in-house corporate counsel and with private law
firms, Michael's practice emphasizes the drafting,
negotiation, and review of contracts, including
entertainment industry agreements for both production houses
and individual professionals, financing agreements,
intellectual property licensing agreements, and new media,
technology, and commercial contracts. An integral part of
Michael's practice includes a comprehensive "entity
practice" involved with the formation, maintenance, and
dissolution of corporations and limited liability
companies.
A former university law professor, Michael also actively
participates in public speaking engagements, both in the
business and entertainment law arenas, and as an
inspirational speaker to teenaged and young adult cancer
survivors (from the perspective of one himself) on finding
post-treatment life success.

- In his off-hour (not hours), Michael serves as
managing director of The Vagabond Players, a small
professional theater group performing 3-4 plays a year in
North Hollywood theaters, and is working to finish his
first book, "Humpty Rising: How One Teenaged Cancer
Survivor Put Life Back Together Again" in support of his
inspirational speaking project
