BUSINESS BIO:

Robert Kosberg is known in Hollywood as one of the best idea men/producers in the business. He has sold over 100 feature film projects and currently has over 20 movies in active development at the various studios. For the last fifteen years, Kosberg has had production term deals at all of the major studios in return for providing them with his feature material. His first produced movie was Arnold Schwarzenegger's COMMANDO for 20th Century Fox, which grossed over $200,000,000 worldwide.

Kosberg's projects consistently attract the top stars in the film industry, such as Adam Sandler (set to star in WILD PITCH at Revolution Studios), Drew Barrymore (attached to star in SURRENDER DOROTHY, the WIZARD OF OZ sequel for Warner Bros.) and Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller (attached to star in THE HARDY MEN for Fox). Recently Robert set up the comedy feature DRAWN TOGETHER at Fox 2000 with Katherine Heigl (KNOCKED UP) attached to star.

Robert Kosberg graduated from the UCLA film school and began his career as a screenwriter. With his partner David Simon, Kosberg wrote IN THE MOOD for Lorimar (directed by Phil Robinson) and then served as the associate producer on COMMANDO for Fox. Kosberg then produced ANOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT for Columbia Studios.

In 1989, Kosberg became vice-president of Guber-Peters Entertainment (based at Warner Bros.), and two years later moved on to Sony Pictures as an independent producer. Between 1992 and 1994, Kosberg was based at TriStar in a producing partnership with Roven-Cavallo, and Executive Produced MAN'S BEST FRIEND for New Line in 1994. During 1995 and 1996, Kosberg was based at Paramount in a joint venture arrangement with Neufeld/Rehme and Prelude Pictures.

In 1996, Kosberg executive produced 12 MONKEYS starring Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt for Universal Pictures. That film grossed over $150,000,000 worldwide, and is now considered a sci-fi classic.

Kosberg was based at Constantin Films in 1996 - 1997, developing the American remakes of MAYBE, MAYBE NOT and SUPERWIFE.

From 1997 to 2001, Kosberg was based at Merv Griffin Entertainment, where he had an exclusive television arrangement and a first look deal in features. Kosberg and Griffin were Executive Producers for the Sony talk show MEN ARE FROM MARS, WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS.

In 2003, he co-created and produced the Fox television series, "Mr. Personality."

As of October 1, 2003, Kosberg entered into a first look deal with Bruce Nash Entertainment, based at the Sunset-Gower Studios.
