BUSINESS BIO:
Gene began his career in the mid-1980's as a film director and since that time has been the Owner and President of Gene Massey Films, Inc., a Los Angeles-based film and television production company. Over the years, the company has produced its revenues from the production of short films, documentaries, and national television commercials.

In August of 1999, Gene founded CinemaShares.com, Inc., a Nevada Corporation, and filed U.S. and International Patents for a new method of financing motion pictures on the Internet. In September of 2004, the United States Patent and Trademark Office Appeals Board allowed this patent. Although this patented business method was initially created to finance movies through CinemaShares.com, a key element of our current business plan calls for licensing to major Hollywood Studios and Independent production companies. Additional patents have now been filed as a continuation of this patent, and all rights to these patents have been transferred to MediaShares.com, the parent holding company of CinemaShares.com and other related companies.

From1990 to 1997 Gene worked personally with Ely Callaway, Chairman/CEO of Callaway Golf, producing and directing over four hundred television commercials that introduced and promoted the "Big Bertha" line of golf clubs. During the period of time that Gene Massey Films produced these commercials, Callaway's total sales increased from $21 million in 1990 to $843 million in 1997.

In addition to the Callaway Golf commercials, Gene has produced and directed short films and commercials for clients such as Goodyear, Gucci, Chrysler, Pizza Hut, Toyota, Burger King, Epson Computers, Gallo, Polaroid, RCA, Case Tractors, the American Cancer Society, and the U.S. Army. His film and television work has received recognition from the Clio Awards, the Telly Awards, the New York Festival, the Houston Film Festival, the Art Director's Club of Los Angeles, and the Homburg Award.

He has directed such well-known sports personalities as Johnny Miller, Sugar Ray Leonard, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Annika Sorenstam, Colin Montgomerie, Greg Louganis, Paul Azinger, Patty Sheehan, and Kenny Roberts. Also known for his comedy direction, Gene has also worked with such stars as Jane Krakowski, Jean Stapleton, Smokey Robinson, Alice Cooper, Tommy Smothers, Kenny G, Jane Wyatt, Jimmy Walker, Arthur Hill, Eva Marie Saint, Vincent Price, and Henry Mancini.

As a screenwriter, Gene is best known for the upcoming family feature film "Fungi - A Comedy about Pollution." This screenplay has now won awards in four major screenplay competitions: the Award of Excellence from the Film Advisory Board, Best Comedy Screenplay from both the Houston Film Festival and the Charleston Film Festival, and Best Screenplay Finalist from the Arizona Film Society. Prior to his work as a director, Gene was an actor, appearing in a number of network television shows and feature films, and most notably working with Steven Spielberg in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
